Chad Gonzales1 days agoWonderful tour. Tour guide was Nathan. He met us at the Tower of London. He accompanied us on the river Thames and walked with us to St. James park. He was so informative. He shared so many interesting facts and details of the city. Truly one of the best tours I have taken and I can easily recommend this tour and Nathan. The guide would talk with his back to us, with buses and bagpipes and cars going by so I and many of the group missed half of everything he said. He needed to gace us and speak up or better to have an audio for all to use the hear him.Posted on Viator

An engaging storyteller, he blended wit with energy and knowledge to make this a tour you must take when in London. We loved it, and will hope to get him again when we return.Posted on Viator

He was very knowledgeable, very thorough and had a good sense of humor.Posted on ViatorLarry_W4 days agoChanging the Guard You will not be next to the palace, but you will see the guards exit their residence and march to the palace. Then you will walk down the mall and pick a place to watch them march to St. James palace, get inspected, and return to the palace. You will be very close to the guards, and the mounted police. Don't step into the street or you may get run over. Sundays are the absolute best, with the fewest crowds! The photos were taken from about 1000 feet away - showing the throng of people at the palace, who never got close to the guards, and only saw a bit of the ceremony, so I recommend this tour.+3Posted on Google

Our guide Francis was excellent and his knowledge and personal stories of the area were great. I only wish there were headphones available. The noise in the area made it difficult to hear even though Francis did his best to avoid the nosier spots. In all fairness it was raining pretty hard which added to the city noise.Posted on Google

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history, and brought the stories of **Winston Churchill, World War II, and London during the war** to life in a way that was fascinating from beginning to end. We’ve visited London many times, but this tour gave us an entirely new perspective on places we had walked past before. The combination of the **war memorials, Churchill history, personal stories, and historical context** made everything so much more meaningful. We learned a tremendous amount without the tour ever feeling like a history lecture. The pacing was excellent, the stories were memorable, and our guide was wonderful at answering questions and keeping everyone engaged. Even the teenagers in our family really enjoyed it! **If you love history—or simply want to understand London and its role during WWII on a deeper level—I cannot recommend this tour enough. Paul our guide was very informative and humorous, he explained clearly all the important details about the palace and different houses that the royals used and currently use. Grant P8 days agoGreat tour with David Had a great experience with David. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was also very flexible with what we wanted to see and do. Patricia J10 days agoThe walking tour is worth the time!! We were afraid the walking portion of this tour would be just a bunch of dates and facts BUT IT WASN’T! Thanks to Nathan! His enthusiasm, knowledge and sense of humor made the tour a lot of fun! The Churchill War Rooms tour was also amazing! The Churchill museum portion is also interesting, but a little hard to navigate your way through and it is overly dark so it is difficult to read some of the display plaques.Posted on Tripadvisor

nice but overpriced it is overpriced ... there was no inside visit to the Elizabeth tower , and also no to westimister .. it was just outside .. overall you could go to the churchill war room by just buying ticked from the War ROOM site. the guide was a nice pearson , and know what he was saying .Posted on Tripadvisor

He gave us interesting information that we wouldn’t have figured out on our own, and he had the timing for everything perfect. He kept track of the group very well. We got to see stages of the changing of the guard that we wouldn’t have seen on our own. Highly recommend this tour, and Paul was a great guide!Posted on Tripadvisor
